THE POCONO MOUNTAINS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY

The Pocono Mountains Municipal Airport Authority operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the Pocono Mountains Municipal Airport Authority.

Title VI Complaint Procedures

Complaint Procedures: Organizations must develop procedures for investigating and tracking Title VI discrimination complaints pursuant to 23 CFR 200.9 (b)(3). The complaint procedures must be disseminated by the local agency internally and externally. At a minimum, the complaint procedures be posted on the organizations website

These procedures are past of an administrative process that does not provide for remedies that include punitive damages or compensatory remuneration for the complainant Intimidation or retaliation of any kind is prohibited by law.

Process: An individual, or his or her representative , who believes that he or she has been subject to discrimination or retaliation prohibited by Title VI and other nondiscriminatory provisions, has the right to file a complaint. Complaints need to be filed within 180 calendar days of alleged occurrence, when the alleged discrimination became known to the Complainant, or when there has been a continuing course of conduct, the date on which the conduct was discontinued or latest instance of the conduct.
